What we hear

Do you recognise any of these challenges?

Here’s what we hear most often.

Contracting companies

  • A master spreadsheet that falls out of date as soon as you add a site.
  • Finding out from a 6am phone call that a worker's certificate has expired, whilst they're at the gate.
  • Having no idea which vehicles and equipment are going to which client sites.

Mining companies

  • Struggling to maintain competency matrix reports in Excel.
  • That uneasy feeling that workers are on site without the right competencies.
  • Your induction process sitting in staff inboxes, folders, spreadsheets and physical boxes.

If you want more certainty, control and clarity, here’s how we help.

Two products

What are you trying to solve?

Whether you need your people or equipment compliant across every client site you work on (always Site Ready), or you induct a whole workforce onto your own site and keep it compliant (always Site Approved), we built a product for each.

Why PIAGO

How we make compliance easier, and business better.

Two products from one Brisbane team. GO! Site Ready works for the contracting company on its own. GO! Site Approved works for the mine site. Either way, you can get the person who built it on the phone.

  • Your people and equipment in one place

In GO! Site Ready, plant registrations, servicing and inspections sit in the same register as your team's tickets and medicals. When a site asks whether the crew and the machine are both cleared, you answer once.

  • Both sides of the gate

Mine sites and the contracting companies that work on them need different things from the same records. We build a product for each, so neither side has to make do with software designed for the other.

  • An Australian you can actually talk to

Your questions go to Carl, who built it, in Brisbane. You get answers from someone who knows mine sites and works in your timezone.

  • Written to Australian mining law

Queensland coal sits under its own Act, with its own duty holders and reporting categories. The software is written to those rules, so your records hold up in the situations that matter most.

  • Manage compliance your way

The compliance core stays fixed, because that is the part that has to hold up. Everything around it is set up to match how your operation runs, so you keep your process and stay compliant.

  • Records that outlive the job

Investigations and prosecutions can arrive years after the work. Your evidence is still there when they do, with the name of the person who signed it.

Need a feature to match YOUR process? We’ll build it with you.

Most vendors log the request and leave you to work around it. We would rather engineer the answer properly, which is why clients stay, and why what we build for one site ends up in the core for everyone.

More about PIAGO

About PIAGO

An Australian team, and the person who runs it takes the call.

PIAGO is Australian owned and operated, out of Brisbane. The registered name is Project is a GO!, which is where PIAGO comes from. We have been building software for mining and construction for over thirty years, and enterprise mining clients have run their compliance on our platforms for over a decade.

Carl takes the first call himself. He will walk through your operation, tell you what the platform does and what it does not, and if PIAGO is not the right fit he will say so on the call rather than three months into an implementation.

To make workforce and equipment compliance easier, and business better.

Customer story

140+ workers
across 50+ mine sites

No more 5:30am gate calls.

Frontline Equipment Maintenance ran their whole compliance picture out of Excel. It worked until the master list stopped keeping up with the number of sites, and the first anyone knew of a problem was a phone call at the gate.

Moving it into GO! Site Ready put every ticket, medical and service in one place, checked against what each client site actually asks for.

Insights

Writing for the people who carry the compliance.

Thirty years of working on this problem, written down. What auditors keep finding, what the recent law changes mean in practice, and what works on site. Free to read, whether you ever buy anything or not.

And underneath the writing, the reference layer: plain-English guides to the law, the tickets and the software: sourced, dated, and written for people who have to act on them.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

I'm a mining contracting company. Which product do I need?
GO! Site Ready. It's built for the business sending people and equipment onto someone else's site: every ticket, medical and certification for your people, every service and inspection for your gear, checked against the requirements of the sites you actually work on.
We run a mine site. Where do we start?
GO! Site Approved. It gives you one controlled pathway for everyone coming through your gate: induction that enforces your site's requirements, compliance tracked after approval rather than just at it, and site access that reflects real qualification status.
What's the difference between the two?
Which side of the gate you're on. GO! Site Approved is for the principal, the business that owns the site and sets the standards. GO! Site Ready is for the contracting company that has to meet somebody else's standards, repeatedly, across many sites with different rules.
Where is our data held?
In Australia. Every client runs on its own segregated infrastructure, including its own database, so your records never sit alongside another operator's. Multi-factor authentication is standard and passkeys are supported.
We already have a system. Why change?
Often you shouldn't, and we'll say so. The case for changing is usually one of three things: the current tool can't evidence compliance in an audit, it covers people but not equipment, or it forces every site through one process when your sites genuinely differ.
